What you are paying for

One plain-English program, start to finish.

Both paths run the same five motions — Baseline, Protect, Monitor, Recover, Improve. Managed Security simply hands more of it to us. It is a program, not a pile of tools.

  1. 01

    Baseline

We find out where you actually stand and what matters first — a clear picture and a prioritized plan, not a 200-page audit.

  2. 02

    Protect

We harden the things attackers go for: identities, email, devices, backups, and the common ways in.

  3. 03

    Monitor

We watch for real threats across your security signals and escalate the ones that matter — managed detection and response coverage with our team handling the response.

  4. 04

    Recover

We keep you ready for the bad day: ransomware and outage preparation, tested backups, and a clear path back to running.

  5. 05

    Improve

We keep raising the bar — a recurring roadmap, an honest record of what’s accepted, and reporting you can actually read.

Questions

Pricing, in plain English.

What is the difference between Starter and Managed Security?

Starter is self-serve — you check where you stand with a free security baseline, then turn on protection yourself and keep an eye on your own dashboard. Managed Security is run for you: we scope it to your business, handle setup, monitoring, response, and reporting, so you can focus on running the company. Think of Starter as protection you switch on, and Managed Security as the protection plus the team.

How much does it cost?

Everything starts with a free security baseline, so you can see where you stand before spending a dollar. Self-serve Starter is simple, no-contract protection you can switch on yourself. Managed Security is custom-scoped to your business on a short discovery call — we walk through what actually fits and give you a clear, honest price before you commit to anything. No padded minimums, no paying for things you do not need.

Why is Managed Security custom-scoped instead of a fixed tier?

Every small business is a different size and shape. Fixed tiers force you into someone else’s box — too little coverage or too much you never use. We scope a single managed program around your actual environment so you only pay for what fits, and we put it in plain English before we begin.

What is Security Advisory?

Security Advisory is senior security leadership on call — help with planning, board- and client-ready reporting, and the bigger strategic decisions. It is an add-on within a managed engagement, not a separate plan, so you can bring it in when you need that level of guidance.

Is there a contract?

Starter is no-contract, self-serve protection — turn it on or off on your own terms. Managed Security is an ongoing program, since real security is a discipline rather than a one-time project; we lay out the terms plainly during the discovery call so there are no surprises.

Can I move from Starter to a managed program later?

Yes — same account, same data, no reinstalling anything. When you are ready for us to take it over, we step in and start running the program on top of what you already have.

Does this help with cyber insurance?

It is built around the core technical controls cyber-insurance carriers ask about — endpoint protection, exposed-credential monitoring, hardening, and recovery readiness. Managed Security goes further with documentation and ongoing advisory so you can show your coverage with confidence when it is time to renew a policy.

Who is this for?

Small businesses, roughly 5 to 50 people, that need real security but do not have an in-house security team. You get protection and a team behind it without hiring one.

Find the path that actually fits.

Start with a free security baseline, or book a 30-minute discovery call and we will scope a managed program around your business — no pressure, no padded minimums.
